S&R Pizza is known for its world-famous pizzas and Southern-style fried chicken, 100% all-beef hotdogs, cheeseburgers, and French fries, amongst other delicacies. In addition to its original location within the S&R Membership Shopping warehouse, the S&R New York Style Pizza Restaurant currently operates satellite locations within several Philippine shopping malls. They began with just four S&R Clubs nationwide, the first in BGC. In 2006, we extended to Alabang, Congressional, and Aseana in Pasay City, and today they have over seventy active branches and are continuing to grow.

In 2001, S&R Membership Shopping was founded as S&R Pricemart in conjunction with the American retailer PriceSmart.The “S&R” moniker refers to the American entrepreneurial duo Sol and Robert Price, who established Price Club and PriceSmart retail chains.

The Co family bought out PriceSmart in 2005, and the company was rebranded as S&R Membership Shopping the following year. Kareila Management, Inc., which also manages the Puregold Price Club, handles the day-to-day activities of S&R on behalf of the Co family.

In 2010, S&R launched a fifth location in Mandaue, Cebu, marking its first foray outside Metro Manila. Metro Manila was the site of the first four locations for the chain.

Puregold and Kareila merged in 2012. The former acquired 100% of the stock in Kareila Management from S&R.

S&R also plans to build new warehouses and Quick Service Restaurants open to the public to give superior customer service and the most competitive prices, particularly to the members who place the highest value on their membership.

Their slogan is “Big Fun!” and their goal is to provide every Filipino with a slice of the most giant, delicious New York-style pizza possible.
