Sisig Hooray! History
In 2005, Sisig Hooray opened its doors, serving the public its first authentic, freshly made batch of Sisig. Immanuel D. Balce, the founder of Chop Chop Yum Yum, Inc., was inspired to modernize the Pinoys’ favorite pulutan, Sisig, by making it a dish served with rice.
Sisig Hooray’s first storefront, located at Ever Gotesco Ortigas, quickly became the center of the market’s attention, and unexpectedly lengthy queues formed around the block.
The sisig ingredients are chopped in front of the consumers by experienced staff. Their expert chopping style not only entertains customers as they wait for their sisig fix but also gets them hungrier for the freshly prepared Sisig that they’ve been craving.
