Luk Yuen has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 1981 as a traditional noodle house. Originally, the restaurant was known mostly for its congee, noodles, and dim sum. Its mission was to provide Chinese comfort food that excelled in all of those categories while remaining reasonably priced, fresh, and consistent.
Luk Yuen, now a full-service Chinese restaurant, continues to operate under the same guiding philosophy, with an emphasis on home-style, authentic food.
