One of the best Chinese dining experiences in the Philippines can be found at Hap Chan, a Hong Kong-style tea house that serves authentic Chinese cuisine. Because “to put together or bundle in one group” is what the name Hap means, and “place” is what the name Chan means, the restaurant’s motto is that it is the ideal spot for Chinese food for friends and family alike.
Hap Chan Branch
Since the first Chinese immigrants arrived in the Philippines, Chinese cuisine has been an integral component of the country’s culinary landscape. Because it is such a straightforward method of cooking that results in fresh and flavorful food, it can be prepared and purchased in any location.

Hap Chan History
In 1997, Chef Kwok Man Wah, an immigrant from China, established Hap Chan as a tea shop in Manila, where he served Filipino-Chinese dishes such as dim sum, lugao, noodles, and more. Hap Chan is now known as Hap Chan Restaurant. They are known for hiring chefs from Hong Kong, and they are now expanding their business to meet the rising demand for Chinese cuisine through franchising and opening new locations.
