The Story of Bon Appetea

Chef Tom Pestano, a Culinary Institute of America graduate, is the creator of Bon Appetea. His extensive knowledge of the food and hospitality industries in the United States brought him back to the Philippines, where he opened Wicked Waffle and Bon AppeTEA to fill the market gap created ten years earlier.

Bon Appetea is a novel franchise idea that offers the newest generation of delicious tea concoctions at a very reasonable cost. In the Strata 2000 building in Ortigas, a small milk tea express bar served as the foundation of Bon Appetea. The Culinary Institute of America graduate Chef Tom Pestano owned and operated it. To create Bon Appetea, the words “bon appetite,” which means “good appetite,” were combined with the name of the company’s primary product, milk TEA.

Blossom Dreams, Peachsicle, Rainforest Passion, Heavenly Blush, and Morocco Nights are a few of the Jasmin green tea blends in Bon Appetea milk tea products. The Purple Royale, Himalaya, Nirvana, Kathmandu, Ambrosia, Mélange, and Crème Brule are just a few of the Assam Black Tea varieties they offer.

All meals come with your choice of garnishes, such as the popular chewy Tapioca Pearls (sago), Nata de Coco, Sweet Puddings, Heavenly Aloes, and Soft Jellies like Brown Sugar Jelly, Mesona Jelly, and Konjak.

As a result of the initial Bon Appetea Express Bar’s success, a second location was opened quickly along Better Living in Paranaque, and franchising is one of their plans for future expansion.
