Abé Beginings
Abé was started in 2006 with a branch in Serendra. Over the years, they became a huge success and opened 11 more branches of the Abé restaurant. It is said the restaurant was accidentally opened by Larry J. Cruz, who used to collect but ran out of space to store them, so he opened an antique store in Malate and named it Koleksyon. He later turned the place into a cafe-restaurant.
Some of Abé’s Favorites
The Day After – Pork Lechon Paksiw stewed in spicy sauce, coconut milk, and chilies for extra spice. Chicken Supreme – based on Amba’s mom’s recipe, they use malagkit, chestnuts and chorizo for stuffing which is unique to this restaurant.
